There are many facets to making a function, whether it be a wedding reception or any other event, a success. Here are but just a few that I strongly believe in:

• I am being hired and paid to provide the service of playing recorded music as well as being an MC and must be flexible to structure my service to fit the customers needs and wants.
• It is very important to play music that will please every guest at the function at one time or another, chances are, there will be a large variety of ages, which will mean a large variety of musical tastes.
• It is very important to take requests, I encourage it. Again, very important to play what the people want to hear.
• Always "dress for success", unless I am requested to dress otherwise, I will wear a tuxedo when I do a wedding reception and dress appropriately for all other functions.

I travel with just about 9,000 songs on the laptop and have almost 4,000 CD's to draw from, giving me a total of over 50,000 songs. The music ranges from the 1920's through the latest hits of today. Whether it be Adult Standards, Swing, Big Band, Country, Motown, Reggae, Classic Rock/Pop of the 50's, 60's, 70's or 80's, Disco, Hip Hop, Current Dance, it's all here.
